The Arbeia Lodge

The new Arbeia Lodge is a one bedroom Platinum Lodge at Vindomora Country Lodges that will offer guests, luxurious accommodation, amazing elevated views and a separate private gated access, all set in tranquil surroundings on the banks of the River Derwent in Northumberland.
This lodge will be available for bookings soon. 

The lodge derives its name from the Roman Fort, Arbeia, which stood at the entrance to the River Tyne at modern day South Shields and guarded the main sea route to Hadrians Wall.

The nearby Roman Wall was built on the orders of the Roman Emperor Hadrian in AD122 and in 1987, Hadrian’s Wall was made into a UNESCO World Heritage Site and therefore is acknowledged as a site of outstanding value to humanity

In the Arbeia Lodge you will find an open plan living, dining and kitchen area and one bedroom fitted with a Super King bed offering accommodation for 2 people.
It is planned to have the large bathroom fitted with a bath and separate shower, and his n hers wash basins. 
Included for your comfort will be a private Hot Tub; a real log stove with an initial, complimentary basket of logs; a washing machine, dishwasher, fridge / freezer, hob and oven: bed linen, towels and robes. 
The Lodge will also have complimentary toiletries, including hand wash, body lotion, shampoo and shower gel.
Finally, enjoy a complimentary bottle of wine on us when you arrive!
